I don't think it's being presented as news. It is a commentary on news - such as the ceasefire and the words of the IAEA head. The opening line of the article really gives away that it is an opinion based piece - the words there "are disturbing signs" means that it is not fact, just a mere possibility.

I looked for a couple of quick sources with that specific information. Sure, I could have taken the time to look for other sources but these were on the first page of the Google search. Of course, I first heard these kinds of statements on television news programs a few years back.

As for "BBC lies," they're the media: of course they lie - so do all the other media outlets. They don't report news any more, they spin the news in order to get their viewers/listeners/readers to draw pre-determined conclusions.
