Well, I meant more between U.S. and Israel.

But all the same, if anybody else does it, the consequences would be similar, the US would still be blamed (would probably still be behind it anyway) and Basra troops would still be hit.

I agree with that, my point is just simply that who the actor is could have a big impact on consequences. Though i do also believe that the US will be blamed whoever does it, and probably rightfully.

That was more or less my point.

If Russia attacked Iran, it would be spun as the US pushing them to it, equally China, India, France, UAE, whatever.

I was refering to the link and the quotes that you posted. And I wasn't specifically saying that you, Comrade Joe, have been saying it for over a year, but that liberals, progressives, and socialists (how they label themselves, not my personal choices for them) have been saying it and bringing it back up every 6 weeks or so. I first heard it Nov 06 on Randi Rhodes.
