yes we can, unless its done correctly (ie. not like iraq)
the adverse effects of an untimely, and inproper attack, would greatly outweigh weighting by proper i mean no politically correct war crap. cant do it - would have to take out most of the military and missiles immediately, and unlike the silly 'strike and awe' in iraq |

Its not what you or I think should happen, but an obligation that has already been agreed to. If we say "screw the Jews" then the Arabs will say "you can't trust America", but this time they would be justified. |

We agree on that. If we do attack Iran, it should be all-out, seal the borders, destroy their military in its entirety. But I'm told may Iranians are ready for revolution and we would only need to push the right buttons. |

Possibly. But I think the only way we can ratchet down the anger towards America is to be more hands off. What's the alternative? Constant, unresolved, ruinously expensive conflict? I vote no.

I don't care if they are angry, all I care about is that they keep it "over there". That means a secure Israel and a stong united front against their agression. They only respect those who are stronger than they are, and will quickly pounce on those they see are weak.

I think we've crossed the Rubicon in terms of who's the aggreesor and who isn't. We can no longer pride ourselves on being the righteous defenders, anymore. Countries are a hell of a lot more afraid of US going rogue on them, than any other...and I really dislike bullies. Being the world's police has a price, and it's one I am no longer very keen on paying. Bankrupting America to keep Israel afloat and "contain" the Arab World doesn't sound like a wise policy, to me. Rome expanded its influence to the point of allowing decay at home, as well. I may be wrong, certainly, but I think it's time we began handling our own business for a while. If we quit meddling, we might find that OPEC's a bit more inclined to open some taps.....

You can bet on one thing: Israel doesnt need the US to take out Irans nuclear facilities.
The United States has probably told Israel not to attack, and is holding them back. Israel would have never let the facilities get this far without someone stopping them. |
