A War Crimes Tribunal post-Obama victory and Democrat landslide victories in Congress in November?

now that's doable...

why impeach when you can imprison?

Stripey! Where ya been?

Well, if we get out of Iraq, that will mean the military industrial complex will need to find a new way to go to war and generate contracts.

How about a special draft being established for only the extended families of the Bush billionaires?

Techinally, it's not a war, it is an occupation, but that's just minor word play. It does have an effect though in the false light that it shines.

We're not going anywhere until we get those flowers and parades we were promised.

We walked. So, where's that cake?

I believe Obama has that covered. There will be no shortage of conflicts if he gets elected. Al Qaeda is the front we will be fighting for many years to come. Obama's words:
"Beyond Pakistan, there is a core of terrorists -- probably in the tens of thousands -- who have made their choice to attack America. So the second step in my strategy will be to build our capacity and our partnerships to track down, capture or kill terrorists around the world, and to deny them the world's most dangerous weapons" -Barack Obama

"I will not hesitate to use military force to take out terrorists who pose a direct threat to America. This requires a broader set of capabilities, as outlined in the Army and Marine Corps's new counter-insurgency manual. I will ensure that our military becomes more stealth, agile, and lethal in its ability to capture or kill terrorists. We need to recruit, train, and equip our armed forces to better target terrorists, and to help foreign militaries to do the same. This must include a program to bolster our ability to speak different languages, understand different cultures, and coordinate complex missions with our civilian agencies." -Barack Obama
And the contracts will keep on coming our way:
"As President, I would make the hundreds of millions of dollars in U.S. military aid to Pakistan conditional, and I would make our conditions clear: Pakistan must make substantial progress in closing down the training camps, evicting foreign fighters, and preventing the Taliban from using Pakistan as a staging area for attacks in Afghanistan." -Barack Obama
Where do you think Pakistan will spend all that military-aid money? Yes, the military contracts will continue for our military complex. Obama will put all that money back into the pockets of the US military complex. That's how it has always been, and to think that he will change that system is non realistic.

How about a draft that takes all the criminals and drug dealers off the streets. We have prison inmates fighting fires in this country, why not have them fight wars outside of this country? Problem solved.

Just great, AD. Sheesh.

Isn't there any candidate out there that hasn't fallen for the phantom menace of terrorism? Guess we really did need another boogeyman aftter the fall of Communism, and this fits the bill.

It goes to show that politicans of every stripe have a vested interest in making sure we keep jumping at shadows, and keep shoveling $$$$ at the status quo.

Disappointing.
