Murat Kurnaz (former Guantanamo German detainee) explains: I saw children overthere, 9 years old, 12 years old, and many kids were 14.... and they got torchered the same way, they got beaten up... and they had to live in small cages for many years...
Source - RussiaToday : News : U.S. held hundreds of children in Iraq: Russia’s UN ambassador ![]() Murat Kurnaz Murat Kurnaz (born March 19, 1982 in Bremen, Germany) was held in extrajudicial detention and claims to have been at the U.S. military base in Kandahar, Afghanistan and in the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, Cuba for four years. Kurnaz, a Turkish citizen and legal resident of Germany, was in the process of becoming a German citizen when he was arrested in Pakistan in late 2001. His detainee ID number was 053. After being imprisoned for five years he was released and arrived in Germany August 24, 2006.On May 20, 2008 Kurnaz became the first former Guantanamo detainee to testify before the U.S. Congress, which he did from Germany via videolink. Wikimedia Error Guantànamo detainee Murat Kurnaz released Posted: December 1, 2006 On August 24, 2006, Murat Kurnaz was released from Guantánamo Bay and allowed to return home to Germany. Held for over four years, he had only ever been allowed to have contact with his loved ones through letters. Like many others at Guantánamo, Kurnaz was detained despite little evidence to link him to “terrorist” activities. Both US and German intelligence services had acknowledged this, yet it took years to win his release. Good News | Guantànamo detainee Murat Kurnaz released |

NGOA: We already know this information on Murat Kurnaz. I have posted it, and then some. We know what he alleges, and that has been addressed in my previous post. Do you care to comment on what I have posted, or are you avoiding my comments?
If you need to refer to my previous comments take a look at post #8. I will repost them for you: It seems that the person making these accusations, Murat Kurnaz, is a former Gitmo detainee. Yes, it seems he was innocent and should have not been detained. But this fact is independent of the accusations he is making. Here are his words from the video:"The worst thing that I saw...I saw children over there...9 years old, 12 years old...and many kids who were 14. They got tortured in the same way...they got beaten up and they had to live in small cages for many years."Anyone can see that he has a major grudge with the US government, and that is understandable. It is obvious that this is his attempt to vilify US Military, coming from someone with an agenda. |

YOU HAVE NO RESPONSE, ONLY PROPAGANDA. You actually do not represent what Russia is all about. You're not even Russian I suspect. It seems that all you want to do with these threads is just spread your "hate America" propaganda for some reason that we'll never know. RULE #2. No trolling. Trolling is posting unsubstantiated claims repeatedly and flooding a forum. For example, if someone posts five “The US Sucks” threads and then just posts about how much it sucks with no information to back up the claim, it will be considered trolling, while if they back up the claim that the US sucks with supporting evidence, it will be allowed.
