fwiw - deep throat was not really an unnamed informant. apparently the reporters, and maybe even publisher, DID know deep throats name. just kept confidential for obvious reasons. i believe that once he (or she dies) then they CAN release deep throats name

There will be no election during this period if it happens. But I seem to recall posting this news as a theory of mind about 3 months or more ago. If you want more detailed info search it out Israel and F-16s as I included links.

Off topic, but Deep Throat has come out and the reporters have backed it up saying that this was the person. He's now righting a book about the whole thing.

Honestly I will believe it when I see Iran burning. If this where to really happen every member of Congress should never be re elected. The backlash from such a thing would be catastrophic. I really do not see this happening.

I am sure more than a few people would like to see it happen just to yell at Bush/Cheney even more, or maybe ruin the Republicans chance of winning any election in the near future. And that is a sad thing.

I agree. It would be the icing on the cake for all the Bush bashers. They need something like this to happen so it can fuel the hatred they have inside. It's quite sad when you think about it.

It is sad but more than likely true. I am sure there are hardliners out their that think this is the only way to make those wicked people see the light.

It just may be the only way to put them in their place, but not on Bush's watch. Obama will do it for him, guaranteed. National security will always be top priority, no matter who's in office. Bomb bomb Iran will happen eventually, and it will be to neutralize Iran's ambitions of getting a nuke.

People have been saying that Bush was just months away from bombing Iran since 2006. Randi Rhodes made a big deal of it last fall saying that Cheney and Bush were going to bomb Iran before the first Primary. Some people will always be suggesting that we are on the brink of war, so that at some time when we do actually go to a war, they can say that they 'called it'.

If its an unnamed source then I can't say it has a lot of credibility.

But if it is true that he wants an air strike then Bush will unanimously, by everyone in this country (even those who think he's doing good) be the biggest f*ck-up in America's history.
