I wouldn't say we are winning in Iraq as whatever good we do now we will loose when we leave.

Your refering to me correct?

Carl is out for good (unless he rejoins) and Jeremy is heading back this December so he will not be home for christmas. This will be his second tour and if he has the option not to go I think he would still do it.

Prayers are apreciated. Thanks.

Recruiting in America...meeting its goals...my, my.

Should I do a happy dance that Uncle Sam is luring more folks into his shrine of false worship?

He demands blood sacrifices. Of his own children and especially the brown foreigner...

Tell me this Matthew: When will the Iraq war be won?

What are the criteria that will allow all US troops to be withdrawn?

I submit that there will be immense US garrisons in Iraq for decades.

And you, my young friend, will fund it with your taxes, while the impoverished cry for bread and school.

The war will end when
A: we leave or
B: The Iraqi goverment can sustain itself and Iran does not take over Iraq
C: We slowly remove troops over a period of time untill we can finally let the Iraqi government have controll.

Nobody is demanding blood sacrafices. The Army and Marines are offering nice sign up bonuses and people want the money so they join at thier own free will and other people join because they want to like my brothers. Not false worship ethier.

The army thinks like this: Have a base in Germany and we can strike any where in Eruope if needed to. Same goes for Iraq. We have on of the best bases in the middle east and can easily strike anywhere in the middle east from that base. I find it hard to believe any president would want to give that up.

I am not sure if that is the best stratigy. That is like making a series of castles in enemy or neutral countries and leaving a army there so we can strike where we need to fast. All it takes is one country or huge army to move on one of these bases and we are in trouble. Well mabey we could hold them off with missiles and superior vehichles/trained soldiers but I do not think the idea is the best. I am all for having 1-2 bases in Eruope but I think we have 1 to many right now...

Then i will answer it for him. if you were to talk to people that have actually been to Iraq you would know that the country is 100 times more stable then the news makes it out to be. and i have talked to people who have been there. as a matter of fact they just got home from there. and they were going into dowtown bagdad to get McDonalds and going to the mall. so b careful who you get your info from. And i would like to see your source for we are looseing the war. because i would highly disagree with you
