McCain has repeatedly emphasized foreign policy as his forte. Because he's good at that, we should overlook his other shortcomings.

The occasional gaffe and slipup are ok and to be expected, but when the implications of these "gaffes" are war with another country, and he makes them on a regular basis, one has to start wondering.

Any war is a tragedy, but a war based on incompetence is just obscene.
