I have no problem with prayer in school, as long as there is not time set aside for it that takes time out of what we are there to do, and that is learn. When i see someone praying in school, im like "oh, cool". lol. As long as it doesnt take time out of education im fine with it, and as long as the school doesnt endorse it.

People can pray in school, but organizing it any way is wrong.

So, a person's prayers should be disorganized?

"Why?" asks the confused waiter, as the panda makes toward the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder.

"I'm a panda," he says at the door. "Look it up."

The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation.

"Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves."

As far as the United States is concerned a "prayer class" (which is what I assume you meant) wasn't the issue. What was the issue, however, was the State composing prayers and requiring those prayers to be recited by the students in school. Here's a link to the actual Supreme Court case that put an end to this unconstitutional practice: http://www.law.umkc.edu/faculty/proj...law/engel.html

As long as it isn't a school employee leading the prayers, I don't have a problem. I think kids should be able to organize bible/koran/other-religious-book study at lunch as well.

Speaking as an educator, I say nothing's wrong with it if you do it at recess (if you're young enough to have recess) or at lunch--or wherever you want to--as long as it doesn't disrupt class. It's hard enough getting students to pay attention when there are no distractions!

Students are free to organize religious clubs in school in the same manner as other clubs (e.g. a chess club, a computer club, this or that other kind of club).
