But make no mistake about it. It is still a "theory". And not a fact!

Jumping into an academic conversation on a scientifically literate message board to denounce the theory of evolution (which, tactically, endorses the opposition, the very brainwashing monsters everybody else is scorning) is logically the same thing as entering a mathematics conference and telling them the alternate theory: that circles are actually square. Evolution is an intrinsic quality of life. It has been observed, and it is most definitely a fact.
As for your deal with the words "theory" and "fact," I would highly advise that you get your terminology straight before waltzing into a thread to promote your religious - oops, I mean scientific interests. The word "theory" - like many other words - has different meanings in different contexts. In common conversation, it usually refers to a conjecture. Usually an educated guess, but it lacks empirical evidence and is more of a temporary conclusion to be resolved later. But in the scientific community, a "theory" is an observed principle that explains a phenomenon. It's not some made up guess; it's an explanation for how something works. Theories never "become" laws as you seem to anticipate.
You seem to be rather fond of criticizing evolution because it's "only a theory." While you're at it, why not also level charges against the atomic theory? After all, it's "just a theory" as well. What about the "theory" of relativity? How about an attack on the theory of plate tectonics? Maybe game theory or cell theory. All of these, and many more scientific explanations/models, are "just theories."
Please, if you're going to step into the academic arena, make sure you know what you're talking about before you try to challenge a well-established, well-respected scientific THEORY.
