No, I consider it bashing because it seems that it is politically correct here to bash people who have certain views while it is essentially forbidden to bash other views. Notice the large number of threads bashing evangelical Christians, conservatives, Americans, capitalists, and even a few recently bashing Libertarians. Notice the threads that get locked or get thrown into the Thunder and Lightning section.

A panda walks into a cafe. He orders a sandwich, eats it, then draws a gun and fires two shots in the air.

"Why?" asks the confused waiter, as the panda makes toward the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder.

"I'm a panda," he says at the door. "Look it up."

The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation.

"Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves."

Those that get locked and thrown into the T&L section do so not because of the topic, but because of how the dicussion had degenerated.

For those of you that believe in said "all-inclusive" God: what is the source of your religion?

Natures moods.

Nature has moods?

What do you mean by "source," do you mean "cause"? Because the "source" of my religion, or the "focal point" is my belief in God. Or do you mean what is the cause of my Belief?

I mean: why do you believe, and, specifically, why do you believe in this all-inclusive interpretation of your religion (presumably Christianity)?

I don't believe in word by word bible. I believe in the "christian" God and I believe that it is the same God that the authors of the bible were believing in. However I recognize that the bible is written by humans and so is capible of mistakes. But I believe that they did their best and tried to be as truthful as possible.

But I suppose that is more of a "what," not a "why." I can't tell you "why" I believe, only that it is the most logical conclusion that I have been able to find. And no, when I began believeing, I didn't stop looking for other options.

Why did they completely miss the all-inclusive bit? And, given that they did, why did you catch it? What makes you sure on this point?

You just did tell me why you believed: you find it logical. Could you explain what about it you find to be logical?
