Default Perils of Liberalist Politics of Australia

Australia is governed by the two party system witha bi-cameral Parliament(House of Representatives & the Senate). Instead of a President, Australia has the Govenor General who represents the British Monachy whose only role in modern Australia is to rubber stamp laws passed by the Parliament and attend fundraisers and, to oversee the disolution of Parliament and formation of new governments come election time.

The somewhat Conservative City Party is called the 'Liberal Party' which consists of people from economic puritans, over to the centre left who like to call themselves 'moderates'. Their centre left are represented by people such as; former Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser and Liberal Senator. Marise Payne who has pushed for the lowering of age for sex to the age of 14, while heterosexuals must remain at 16. To me this sounds like a free licence to adults to lure children into sex. Their Conservatives are a mixed bunch including; former Prime Minister John Howard, Peter Costello and Tony Abbott.

Their Coalition party is the Nationals(formely, Country Party) who are a Rural/Regional bases political party with Conservative Social Values. Economically speaking, they are a mix of liberalists and agragrian socialists.

On the opposite side is the Australian Labor Party(ALP) which was formed as the political wing of the Union Movement. They are connected to each other through their constitutions. They have a right wing faction(Unity) and a left wing faction. In middle is the centre left, centre right and so called non-aligned. The ALP was once a Socialist organisation which no longer exists. Instead, the ALP are 'economic conservatives' as their federal leader and Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd repeatedly informs the people through the media.

It is often wrongly said that the Liberal Party have sold out Australia with the privatisation of assets. In the real world, it was the Hawke/Keating Labor Governments which began the selling off the family jewels. At every election they promised not to sell these assets off while the Peacock/Howard Opposition promised to sell everything off.

Sold by the Hawke/Keating Government includes: QANTAS, Commonwealth. Of all federal government sell offs, the Howard Government's success was the selling of Telstra(communication carrier) which was not handled that well at all.

Amongst the state governments, once again nobody has sold more than Labor Governments. It is the QLD Labor Government who sold electricity commission(Energex) and has decided to sell off all of their stakes in Airports such as Mackay and Brisbane airports. While the deny it, all the signs of selling Queensland Rail is visible as the mantra of the railway management and such has rapidly change to sell its image.

New South Wales Labor is going through the process to completely privatise electricity and despite their protests against private road tolls, they have extended this practice to other major road developments and even increased the pricing of these road tolls. This Labor led NSW Government under Bob Carr saw the removal of health services in rural Australia which made Howard's push for rural doctors a waste of money. No services, nothing for doctors to deliver. In one area of NSW for example, the doctor was no longer to even mend a broken limb or deliver a baby. To do so, would lead to criminal conviction.

The state of Victoria would be the only state where Labor did not get the opportunity as Liberal Premier, Jeff Kennett beat them to the fray to pay off the extreme debt which left the state so poor managed that a single wage of a public servant required an overseas loan.

In Queensland, the health system was redesigned at the hand of Kevin Rudd who is now the nation's Prime Minister. These changes made the health department top heavy where most financial funding never passed administration and medical services suffer for it.

Across the state in regional/rural Australia, emergency departments and labour wards have closed. One of Queensland major regional centres, Rockhampton, almost lost its emergency department in the months leading up to the most previous state election, only to finally find people to work there two months out of the election.

The Gladstone Hospital had to deal with Dr. Patel or otherwise known, 'Dr. Death' whose incompetence witnessed further injuries and in some cases, death. Queensland Labor ignored the pleas for help until the media opted to run with the story. This doctor was given a first class ticket to America and has botched every attempt to bring him back for a trial in court. My belief is they deliberately botched these attempts.

In Cairns(far northern Queensland), fire fighters have publicly aired their anger at having to fill the role of Ambulance Paramedic due to the lack of funding to keep the Ambulance service present. In the area of Bribie Island, there is no hospital and no Ambulance service at all. In the lead up to the previous Queensland state election, there was a story of a man at Bribie Island whose only medical attention available was by volunteer fire service. The closest emergency service being at Caboolture which is a minimum 40 minute drive away.

When Queensland Labor came to power in 1988, they inherited a state that was highly state owned and a healthy surplus. Today, majority of the state's assets have been or is about to be sold off and there is a lack of money available due to mismanagement and pure greed by a government that never asks its people for an opinion but gives it. They even threated local council Mayors with criminal convictions should they go ahead with local referendums on compulsory council amalgamations.

Next, I will write on the issue of immigration, multiculturalism and the back stabbing of Australians.

It is true that Australia has always been a land of immigrants. Even the Aboriginals are not the original inhabitants who pushed out and in many cases, committed genocide against those living here before these people genetically related to the Torres Strait Islanders and others of surrounding Islands. Evidence supporting this is shown of the introduction of the Aboriginal peoples dating back no further than 100,000 years ago yet there is much culture imprinted on the earth going back much further than this time. How much Aboriginal culture was adopted of those here before them is unknown.

Note that this is not some anti-Aboriginal comment but stating it as it actually happened, not to fulfill some fancy ideological madness.

At the end of World War II, Australia needed work skills which Australia did not have and was sorely needed. So the Liberal Government under the leadership of Australia's longest serving Prime Minister, Sir Robert Menzies(3 years then a further 16 years) attracted Europeans to Australia to escape a war torn Europe with the hope of a new start. When the Europeans(Italians, Germans, Polish, etc) came to Australia, they got straight to work, earnt their pay, saved their money and invested it in Australia, respected Australian law and never demanded any special favours. They learnt how to speak English as their adoptive nation.

Since the left wing Labor Government led by Gough Whitlam who almost bankrupted the nation, a new immigration policy began to form, continued with Liberal Prime Minister, Malcolm Frasher who dismissed warnings of national cohesion and brought Lebenese to Australia. Such a mistake this was now we are seeing police over burdened with ethnic based crimes(Lebenese, Pakistani, Chinese, etc).

With the Hawke/Keating Labor Governments, Australian's were told to accept multiculturalism or be labelled a racist. Under this multicultural policy quickly adopted by the Liberal and National parties, immigrants were no longer encouraged to include themselves into Australian society, but white Australia was instructed to make way for the immigrants. Any opposition or questioning was now a racist act.

Today, we have organisations solely for a racial/ethnic group(Chinese, Korean, Lebenese, Indonesian, etc) yet the formation of any organisations for the White Australian became an act of racial discrimination. It is now illegal under Queensland's Anti-Discrimination Act. to even disagree with current policy.

In New South Wales, Professor Fraser of the Macquarie University as part of the course curriculum, stated crime statistics committed by racial groupings. These statistics were taken and quoted from the United Nations yet the response was to charge the Professor for Racial Vilification. At this trial, the Discrimination Commissioner informed the professor that stating facts even if true when painting a minority in a negative light is still racial discrimination. So basically, state a fact and still face the courts. Teach the youth things but only what makes immigrants happy.

Australian children are taught that the white European settlers were evil. There are tonnes of children leaving school hating themselves for wearing a layer of white skin. To make children despise themselves for the colour of skin and blood lineage is the true act of evil.

Unlike the USA, no Australian citizen has legal right to access legal representation. Free legal aid is very limited to those who do not own or are paying off a home mortgage and, receive under a certain annual income. Further restrictions also includes certain charges such as trialled on alledged child abuse. If you can't access Legal Aid, you must pay for your own legal defence whether you can afford it or not. If you are struggling to pay off a home loan, you will be left without legal representation.

However, illegal immigrants who sit in detention camps receive legal access like nobody else without having to pay any money. Is this fair? I think not.

The protest(not riots) at Cronulla Beach several years ago was not sparked by white supremecy as the media told us but by a long line of racially motivated crimes committed by Lebenese and Pakistani gangs against the white Australian. Crimes including the sexual harrassment of young white Australian girls. One practice when a young Australian woman is in the company of one or two men, was to approach from behind and stab the men in the back before sexually assaulting the woman.

In New South Wales alone, there were 55 reported cases of gang rapes committed by Lebenese/Pakistani gangs against young white Australian women over a five year period. These acts are classified as racially/religiously motivated as in each case, the women were told it was because they are white and Christian. In areas such as Sylvanian, local residents for about three years complained about car loads of young Lebenese driving through their streets at night discharging firearms in the air, yelling anti-western/Christian comments, telling residents to leave as it is Lebenese territory now, etc. The final straw was the violent attack on a life guard by a gang of young Lebenese.

Present in this protest were not only young white Australians but Aboriginals and Asians all protesting against the behaviour of the Lebenese and Pakistanis. The result was to see two nights of extreme violence by Lebenese youth who in their hundreds, smashed cars, violently bashed white people including the beating of a man in front of his 10 year old child and, the bashing of an Australian man by four Lebenese who broke the man's jaw. Not one of these people went to prison. Not one of these people driving around in cars carrying machettes, sword, bats, guns, etc were stopped by the police after the NSW Labor Government ordered them not to. Something which both the Police Minister and the Police Commission admitted to doing.

However, a young white Australian male was sentenced to prison for carrying a lethal weapon. His crime was to drag a tree branch along a street nowhere near the action or even in the direction.

The NSW Labor Government never made one comment to attack the Lebense for such violence, only to call the white Australians a bunch of beer filled white supremecists which is far from the truth.

At the November 24(2008) federal election, Labor candidates such as Maxine McKew, ran with slogans; Vote for Maxine McKew - It's good for Asians.

Can you imagine running a campaign saying that it's good for caucasains? There would be uproar and you would face criminal charges of racial hatred. This is far from fair and further evidence of a racist betrayal by Australian leadership.

I have to say there's much I disagree with but I won't go through and pick out the bits I disagree with outright, the bits I think are accurate, the bits which I believe are wrong and all the rest of it. The thread would turn into a two-person tit for tat.

But I'd be happy to put my view on any of the issues you've identified - and you've identified plenty of interesting ones - that your readers may bring up.

I need to make the point that I usually acknowledge my opinion as just that, except where I think I see a factual error, in which case I try to provide evidence for that claim.

But anyway, an interesting, issue-laden couple of posts which probably go a long way to cracking open some of the stereotypes people hold about Australia and that's not a bad thing.

There is a mistake I made which is about the airports sold by Labor...that was a Liberal Party job on the federal level. The state level is Labor.

For those outside of Australia, every government be it Federal, State or a Territory is governed by a Labor Government.

I think I used to use Monarch notes at school here. But happy to answer a question and do my best to make it concise.
