Good example. However the truth came out after a mere century or two.

How do you explain the miracles in the Old Testament? Are those authors part of the conspiracy as well?
No, they're all just stupid. There's no conspiracy.

Is that why the authors were ostracized from their respective societies?
Probably because they were annoying and obnoxious, much like modern evangelists.

And how do I explain O.T. Miracles? I don't. They were also bull****. Myths made up by people who had too much time on their hands, but not enough knowledge. One could say the same thing about Greek religious myths. I bet you really think Apollo rode through the sky in a chariot of fire, right? Were the people who made that story telling the truth? There's no reason to assume the Gospels are any different. It's just a jewish myth instead.

They could have simply been ignored, just as modern evangelists. Of course, ignorance is threatened by truth….

Greek myths never had the diverse authorship that the Bible has.

That's entirely irrelevant to their validity.

No. If you have a diverse witness pool the case becomes much more credible.

It doesn't become more credible when the things they are saying are incredible. It just makes more people. The number and diversity of people who believe something has no bearing on the truth of the belief. Millions of people believe Christ turned water to wine. That just means millions of people are delusional and gullible.

That someone says he saw something happening is worthless. People claim they see ghosts all the time, yet mysteriously, no one can provide a shred of real evidence. Anecdotes don't good evidence make.

The ancient authors were likely just making stuff up to sensationalize and promote their faith. IT wouldn't be the first time.

Yeah. It works a little like this: they wrote down that impossible things happened as though they really did happen, therefore they must be A) stupid or B) lying.

I don't really think they were lying, just that they are stupid.
