I was close to having respect first but I put a high priority on all the environment questions, the thing I hate about the Greens though is all the new-age nonsense like alternative medicine, and their animal rights agenda. I'm proud because i had absolutely nothing for either the BNP, conservatives or UKIP and the same is true for the SNP aswell actually.

Yeah they would be okay if they weren't such hippies. I think i put quite a low priority on the environment stuff. As for the SNP thing, i honestly don't know what they stand for, they have no cohesive ideology except sticking one to the English from what i can gather.

Hey, at least the labour party has a vaguely socialist history. Just you watch, after 10 years of Cameron the whole country will be clamoring for the new socialist labour party led by Galloway. (I wish)

Not sure how though, that party sounds nothing like me.

The only thin i think remotely describes them is populist. I used to call them the real Scottish Tories but maybe that was a bit harsh. They just seem to want to be all things to all people (a bit like New Labour). They want independance, but to keep the pound, the bank of england as central bank, the queen as head of state - that is to pander to the bigots and royalists, dare i say the typical Rangers supporter.

They want to seem like the party of the ordinary people with vaguely leftist policies on education, but they also want to be the party of big business - cuts in corporation tax.

I admit i like Alex Salmond (he used to be extremely socialist) but i just dont trust them as an organisation. I could easily imagine them turning into a slightly more acceptable National Socialists if ever independant, where catholics and genuine socialists become the new jews and communists. I'm not saying concentration camps, but i could imagine an there being undertoones of bigotry to please the substantia bigots.l
