Most people in the labour party (like levi) don't even like Tony Blair. Most people in the Labour party are trade unionists and socialists - though admittedly most of them have quit the party and the leadership no longer represent their interests.

As others have pointed out, the party has left some behind. I'm sorely disappointed with the British Labour Party under Blair and now Brown (and to think Blair launched his campaigns from my old school). It's a bloody shame. But they'll be turfed at the next general election and will regroup and find themselves again in opposition. |
