The problem with dictatorships is that they go down as some of the worst things in human history. Just ask Hitler or Kim Jong-Ill or Mussolini or Batista, etc.

Alexander was not known as the "worst" thing in history...neither was Cyrus.

Hey, I hear you. I actually used to be a professed Communist, and I still have a hell of a time explaining the difference to people.

Not all dictatorships are like that, just some of the more recent ones.

How dare you missquote your leader comrade?
I actually did say in my first post that i would allow Scotland to vote on independance, maybe I'll just find a body-bag for you instead.

I'm glad hugo that you're explaining that Stalin did not implement a dictatorship of the proletariate, no-one really has properly.

who is being an idiot, Dictatorship of the Proletariat has nothing to do with Stalin. I suspect you dont know what the term means.
In fact, I do, and I could do without the condescension. Stalin has everything to do with the dictatorship of the Proletariat, because he illustrates the difference between what you wish would happen and what actually happens.
