Democrat. I voted Republican in the 1980's but now I could never see myself ever voting for a Republican again. |

I adhere to the tenets of libertarianism, but I don't generally support Libertarian Party candidates for federal offices.
While they're certainly much closer to me than your run of the mill Republican or Democrat, I don't support them. They're far too focused on social issues for my taste, and quite frankly, they generally don't have the experience nor the capacity to run this country. They're also the CATO-type of libertarians: pro-war; neolibertarians. I consider myself to be a paleolibertarian. |

I'm a weak totalitarian (not socialist, communist, or fascist so don't even go there).

I identify as a lot of things: democratic socialist, technocrat, communist, Marxist, post-Marxist, anarcho-communist, classical libertarian, libertarian socialist, left-libertarian, syndicalist - it all basically amounts to the same thing - maximize efficiency, liberty, and democracy.
However, I don't belong to any political party. I'm a registered Independent. |
