I am a democrat.
I used to cling on to the idea of independent but i think that is just a way to avoid being blamed for your party's failures . So i say this with an ounce of pride the only thing worse then a republican is a democrat we need to stop pretending that one party has the answer neither does. But the fact that they fight raises the level of debate and keeps people informed. So while i am a democrat allot of what i believe meshes with concervitism. so we can be decent to each other and still disagree. that is what makes us better people. we seem to think that demonising the opposition helps us reach our goals but really it does not. its the debate that matters.

I can see i'm going to be popular I'm a Socialist, some might even say Communist. I live in Scotland and if anyones interested i would mostly associate myself with the Solidarity party

I'm with Chuq in so much as I'm an independent and vote for whichever party fulfills my country's needs at that moment.

I'm also with Hugo Chavez because Scots are naturally socialists and I lean that way.

Currently I support the Scottish Nationalists in order to gain independence and dissolution of the UK union, which no longer serves the best interests of Scotland IMO.
