My mom is a conservative Democrat and my dad is a liberal Democrat. My older sister and I are both Republicans, though we're two different types of conservatives. My little sister and I both have a libertarian lean, though she's more of the hippie type and I'm more of the capitalist type. Nearly everyone in my family is a moderate populist Democrat, so I'd say decidedly no.

Personally I don't even believe in the concept of race, but if we talk about it...I know it's still around, but only a small minority of people, mostly the older group (though there are younger ones who think that way), still espouses views of that nature.
