Yes, I have some knowledge.

I am of course socialist in the real world. It's interesting to learn how the different political systems work, or how they don't work more often.

The US system seems very much less directly accountable than the UK. It seems to take the view that once elected, politicians should be left to get on with the business on the assumption that they are capable and know best what to do.

Where as we complain of incompetence regardless of who is in power
