I don't take these quizzes. I don't really identify with a specific ideology, nor do I really think I can be measured ideologically (wow, that's a word!?).

I find that the quizzes pinpoint almost everyone as a left-wing libertarian. Many of the questions they ask are outrightly ridiculous. They might as well ask questions like,

"I would shoot a black homeless woman while she was having an abortion to save her life."
Strongly Disagree? Disagree? Agree? Strongly Agree?

They're so stacked! They're mostly just tactics so that everyone sees themselves as slightly "Progressive," and votes Democrat from "Progressive Reforms". These quizzes are tactics!

Not really, since they aren't politically affiliated at all...

So you think they're just run by political parties to get us to vote for them? That's odd, since the Political Compass actually can show you where you are compared to the candidates, and I'm nowhere near any of them.

They talk about the failure of socialism but where is the success of capitalism in Africa, Asia and Latin America?

Really? I'm waay leftward of him according to the quiz.

Yeah, he knows his stuff, though. I support him over everyone else.

I think you support a world where no one has any obligations towards anyone else. 8)

"Why?" asks the confused waiter, as the panda makes toward the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder.

"I'm a panda," he says at the door. "Look it up."

The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation.

"Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves."
