I was scrolling around and found this, it's a real shame that the U.S. is one of the few countries in the world with a drinking age at 21 while everyone else is at 18 or none and seems just fine. Even teenagers in Iraq can have it more legally before us.

When I was 18 in the 80s the drinking age was 18. If you think people are adult enough to vote and go to war, then they are old enough to drink. If 18 is too young to drink then raise the age to join the military and to vote too. Make it fair. If they can try an 18 year old as an adult in court, but that 18 year old isn't adult enough to drink alcohol, the system is screwed up IMHO. |

A panda walks into a cafe. He orders a sandwich, eats it, then draws a gun and fires two shots in the air. "Why?" asks the confused waiter, as the panda makes toward the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder. "I'm a panda," he says at the door. "Look it up." The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation. "Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves." |

It is to the right wingers who want to inflict their morality and religion and heavy handed ideals on the rest of us. They want to control a woman's uterus, a gay man's sex life, and a comatose dying woman's time of death. |
