I suggest anyone looking into Antivirus products, stay clear from this one. I complained it placed a TRACE on my machine and was given some B.S. about it being a mistake and to re download the product. Which I did and it added the same TRACE. Plus when I wanted to do a Anti Virus scan it would bring up an error message. Luck me I had seveal other utilities which are standard and don't interfear with the product and are free, that found different Trojans, and nasties. Which my Firewall (Sunbelt personel Firewall) and Anti Virus (Shield Deluxe 2008) allowed to enter my machine.
I took the advise of others here and have a great firewall and antivirus for 25% off normal price. Which have gotten several of the nasties these two worthless products allowed to invest my PC. And today I get this in the e-mail on how to fix my 2 problems with the utility. Now I am sure each PC has some built in utility that would give up the the info they wanted. But another download and then run this and then re-dowload the product. You can either fix these two problems (VIRUS SCAN & The Trace) or rest assured I will get another Anti Virus Scanner Utility and put your product in the 3 forums I use as a defective product with the install Trace as a un-ethical business practice. Now if you care to see the attachments which show the 2 Error messages I get then view the attahments. They are save as Yahoo scans then before attaching them to this e-mail. That is if you intend to really do your job as a level 2 Tech Support person. My number is "REMOVED BY mlurp", as this is your product and your problem. If I receive no response by the middle of next week I will delete the Trace and start the process of finding a new Anti Virus utility.
