Britney, Paris, and others are prime examples of the majority of the modern American generation: intoxicated, careless, irresponsible, uneducated, and moody. I see it every day -- my nephew is a prime example. He has two kids and spends all of his time doing anything but spending it with them. The only difference between these people and most young Americans is that they've had a ton of cash thrown at them. Sure some of them have talents but beyond that I don't see any special gifts -- and especially not enough to earn them outrageous incomes. Many in this generation seem to think if you've got enough money all your problems will go away. Britney is a clear example that this is not so. Their problems aren't going away because in many ways they don't believe in anything but themselves, their pleasures, and where the next rave is going to be. They are morally, ethically, and intellectually vapid individuals. They only fill their lives with more and more hollow things. And spend each day and night chasing after shadows.

Why don't you care about Britney's anguish, since it is a surely a sign of our failed domestic policies? What will your candidate do to make sure women, and men, like Britney, have access to the help they need to overcome their skeletons. It happens everywhere, and nobody cares.

Why do I not care about Britney and those like her? I don't really know, but I have little pity on people who squander and waste their resources. They want to treat life as one long party when it isn't. They want to have fun all the time when they cant. They want life and all its pleasure handed to them on a platter. They want and want and want. Nothing is ever good enough and nothing seems to sate their souls. I lack compassion for them because all their interest seems singularly focused on themselves. A social health care system isn't going to help these people. They need to learn that life has consequences and that their petty bullcrap only damages their children. They need to learn that life is not a giant long coke line to snort till death.
Back in the 90's I remember some Japanese big wig said that Americans were all fat, lazy, and stupid. Back then I disagreed, but now I agree with that assessment more and more. Sure, there are still a lot of hard working and responsible young Americans out there. However, their numbers over the last few decades have depleted due to the Britney mind set. We now have a culture primed and ready for the rise of authoritarianism -- such was Rome around 40 B.C. Many in this forum see the writing on the wall. However, many others seem not to want to look at it. I hear the doom that is coming like some infernal locomotive howling in the distance. The whore of Babylon sitting upon the scarlet beast is now fat and drunk and ready for fire and twisted crosses.
