PETIONVILLE, Haiti - A school building collapsed during classes on Friday, killing at least seven people and injuring many more students, some of them pulled, bleeding, from the rubble.

More children were believed buried in the rubble and rescuers used bare hands and hand tools to get to them. Reuters puts the death toll at 30.

Given all the problems in Haiti, I think we should evacuate the country of its human inhabitants and turn it into a nature preserve. The human inhabitants could be dispersed throughout the Western Hemisphere.

A panda walks into a cafe. He orders a sandwich, eats it, then draws a gun and fires two shots in the air.
