Kenya Catches Obama Fever

Regarding the election of America's first black president, U.S. Ambassador Michael Ranneberger said, "With the media coverage over the past few weeks, I sometimes thought this was a Kenyan election." And he's right. Obama has been huge in Kenya, the birthplace of his father. In fact, before the election, the Associated Press reported that "minibuses here are emblazoned with Obama's picture and vendors sell T-shirts bearing his image." Kenya even detained and deported Jerome Corsi, author of the anti-Obama tome The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality... ...Now that their man has won the presidency, the nation of Kenya has taken it one step further, declaring today a national holiday in honor of Barack Obama.... ___________________________________ Click here to read the rest.

What I saw on the news was Africans playing drums and dancing. Ever try it? Heck of alot of fun. And who is the party pooper that is saying they shouldn't celebrate or somehow the celebration is wrong or stupid? Wrong and stupid are in the eye of the beholder.
