For those of you who are new to the FF, these GSL blogs are not intended as a way to glorify gun violence, but are a counterpoint to all the stories you see more prominently highlighted where guns take innocent lives, rather than protecting them. Let's get started, shall we? The Sacramento Bee reports that a woman was on the phone with her 26 year-old son when he suddenly cried out that someone was trying to break into his apartment and hung up on her. She immediately called the police, and when they arrived, they found that the young man had but a bullet in his would-be assailant and was holding him at gunpoint. They also found another gun, which is presumed to have belonged to the home invader. The invader is expected to survive, having learned a painful lesson about a life of crime. The Sierra Vista Herald reports of a young University of Arizona student who lived in a backyard guest house off campus, when two men broke in.... ________________________ Click here to read the rest.

I read reports like this almost every day. Being armed can prevent one from becoming a victim. I always like to see the tables turned like this.
