Default MSNBC Drops Olbermann, Matthews as News Anchors

Quote:
MSNBC is removing Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews as the anchors of live political events, bowing to growing criticism that they are too opinionated to be seen as neutral in the heat of the presidential campaign. ...........

I like Olbermann a bunch. But I think this was the right choice. They should not be anchoring. I like David Gregory for the job much more.

PS. I hate Chris Mathwes that guy bugs me. He snidely mumbles out a question and starts the next question before the original is answered.

Finally.. Olbermann has gone way to the left and seriously does act like he has a heroin addiction.. it's like he couldn't get enough of Obama.. I personally think he has someone following Obama with a towel soaking up Obama's sweat so Olbermann can shoot the sweat into his veins just to get a fix..

Ok, I might have taken that last bit that too far.. but then again it was Keith Olbermann on Daily Kos spreading the lies about Sarah Palin being the grandmother of Trig.

While I sometimes enjoy Olbermann's show when he rails against Bush administration stupidity (his rant on Hillary was good too), I agree with pulling him off of campaign coverage. Chris Matthews I'd agree with pulling altogether. His show is uninteresting, and he, as was pointed out, could learn a thing or two from O'REILLY about letting people answer questions.

Why is Gregory any better?

This is absurd and a clear appeal to the mindlessness of the middle, which is made even more absurd given you still have hordes of incorrect rightwingtard talking heads on the other stations who are still covering it.

They always get rid of the good people to appease the whiny retards.

Keith Olberman was the only person worth watching in this "race." Now all there is are becktard clones. Can't offend the viewers with reality. That cuts into profits.

Edit: I replaced hoards with HORDES. Typo.

I like Olbermann. But there needs to be an attempt to keep opinion out of live coverage.

When I want Olbermanns opinion i will watch Countdown, I do everyday anyway.

truth or no live coveragee needs no opinion.

Are you talking about 'countdown to no ratings'?

I cannot believe that people watch that biased leftwing clapcrap and then smear Fox.

That is because people watch 'biased rightwing clapcrap' on faux news and smear msnbc.

A vicious cycle yes....but to the informed mind, it is rather comical.

Except Olberman is hardly a biased leftie claptrap. He's just saying it like it is, most often. Rightards just don't like the truth. They either want fapfapfap over their policies (like you get on Faux) or a mindless middle that doesn't say anything either way.

Pointing out that you're retarded doesn't mean you are biased. It just makes you objective. There is nothing wrong with a media that actually attacks hypocrisy and stupidity, as Olberman does.
