I purrfurr the water vapor loops to the infra red because it more or less combines the visual with the infrared, showing the cloud shapes, their motion and the convection associated with them...

I may be in opposition to some of you politically speaking, but we are all americans... so,

And do keep in mind, that once he reaches the Gulf and attains Cat 5 status, even if his winds diminish before coming ashore somewhere along the Gulf Coast, the surge he will be pushing in front of him will not dissapate... think Isabel...

Even though we haven't had many Huricanes this year, it only takes one to wreak havok on entire cities and states, so please everyone, stay safe.

Evacuate and expect the worse. And pack a suitcase with all the family pictures, documents, legal paperwork. Whatever you do, guard yourselves and your families from opportunist. There is no reason to blame anyone for being in the zone when it hits. There is plenty of warning and time to prepare.

you gulf coasters better follow his advice, because if you're looking to the government (fema, and the like) to help you out of a disaster, you're in for a disaster. incompetency they got in spades, but help, you s... out of luck.

I expect that they will be a lot more uhhhh, competent this time around... afterall, it IS an election year.

And yes, I DO think that is the only reason they are going to show they care... they, bush and mclame, couldn't be bothered last time around what with bush playin geetar at mccain's birthday party and all...

but now that mcsame is running for president, they will try harder to LOOK like they care... they don't... but they will make an attempt to look like they do...
