The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation.

"Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves."

whats interesting in that case (in which i agree) is that he was not self defending himself in his own house, but was defending a neighbor's house

Justice is served. It's kinda hard to feel bad for two illegals getting killed after breaking into a house that wasn't their's (after breaking into a country that wasn't their's ironically). Good for him and hopefully more Americans will stop putting up with crime in their neighborhoods.

They were illegals, **** 'em. I've always been in favor of denying illegals basic human rights, since they certainly don't respect our's.

Their legal status makes no difference in the morality of shooting humans posing no threat of physical harm to anyone in the back.

Yes it does. They violated our right to property (this country belongs to Americans) by entering illegally (which would be our RULES for entering our home) and thus their killings are morally justifiable.

A man breaks into your home to steal your tv, you kill him, same principle. It doesn't matter that the robber wanted a better life, or that his house sucks. He violated your property rights and thus poses an immediate threat.

No, I simply don't believe their killings should be prosecuted. I don't believe this case to be unjust (they were after all, committing crimes), but I don't see a problem with an illegal being killed. I do afterall support militarizing the border with Mexico.
