A cast would be the best way for them to see, everything would be in perspective. Pictures can be inaccurate because persepective is off. You hold a 3x5 photo of something that is 16 inches or whatever, it doesn't give an accurate representation, because your mind has to imagin how big it is, you're not really seeing it.
