The mindless stupidity and hypocrisy of some conservatives and their organizations never fails to turn my stomach. Planned Parenthood was going to SELL FOR ONLY TEN DOLLARS some land to Habitat for Humanity to build three homes for needy families but these meddling cretins put a stop to it. I sure wish someone would put a stop to such idiocy. It is one thing to belong to an activist group that shares your beliefs, but it is another to prevent aid from going to people who need it. What a crock.

Let's see, W. & his minions in Congress ran the whole show for many years, & yet, abortion is still as legal today as it ever was. Okay while I totally dont support this action by any means, the actual event is a little vague on how this happened. I dont support abortion, but I certainly dont support anyone who would do something like this. The article doesnt actually say how they "shut down the project". Not to mention the report is biased and steryotypically labeling.

So Im just going to bolden some arguement fallacies on the part of this writer, just because I try to look out for these in any secondhand article that tries to tell news. Its not always reliable information.

Were these emails the reason for halting the project? What were these emails about, were they even related to this incident?

She doesnt address how or why the activists stopped the building project. Im curious as to why.

You bring up some good questions and I admit to wondering exactly how they shut down the project when I read the article. So I just did a net search to learn more. In a nutshell, anti-abortion groups slammed Habitat for Humanity with thousands of emails, and when some donors to Habitat threatened to pull their financial support because of the association with Planned Parenthood (an association consisting merely of being the recipient of donated land for housing) Habitat caved. In short the entire thing was cancelled because of a bunch of emails.
The group supporting the closing of the deal apparently wished to stop the building legitamicy of the clinic by allying itself with Habitat for Humanity.

But further I beleive that as I said before, this action is contradictory to any cause.

A different story turns out when an unbaised source is presented.

Planed Parenthood wanted to build a 23,000 sq ft regional headquaters and was selling the land because it had to (didn't have to sell it to Habitat, but had to sell it none the less). The opposition was against the 23,000 sq ft headquaters.

They don't not care about actual humans, PP just likes to use the poor as a shield to further it's own goals.

They want to build a headquaters somewhere and agree to sell the extra land so that low income houseing can be built and when they are stopped they cry that people don't care about the poor. They only care about the poor as shields. If they actually did care, then they would still sell the land for the low income houseing without building their headquaters, but are they doing that?

No, unless they get some benefit out of it, they don't care about the poor or anyone else.
