Speaking as a parent, it's impossible watch your kid 24/7. It sounds like he should have already been in juvey after the first car-theft. Short of shackling the kid to his bed, I don't see how the parents can keep an eye on him around the clock. What, are they supposed to quit their jobs & sleep in shifts? Some kids just suck. Though this one also appears to be pretty smart, though he's still a $hit for putting his parents through this.
