McClellan points finger at Bush, Rove - Mike Allen and Michael Calderone - Politico.com

Another "turncoat" surfaces and dishes up some real poo poo on Bush and Co....as if we didn't suspect....this is just sweet confirmation.

If ya'll had anything on them it would have surfaced years ago. Why are you wasting electrons on this? Shouldn't you be stumpin' for your guy, Obama?

It would have surfaced long ago if Bush, Cheney and Rove were not being grossly overindulged in usurping power to the executive power and then covering up.

I just realized why southerners are blind to everything. They live by that mantra "an eye for an eye." The whole lot of 'em are blind as a result.

That ain't all.....Remember, I live in Texas. It's all that and some.
And don't anybody tell me to go elsewhere...I was born here...doesn't mean that I subscribe to the mentality...if the means were available, I'd be HX.

Can anyone pretend anymore that we weren't lied into war? But that's the old link Aaronssongs. Now there are more excerpts from the book.

Quote:
Former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan writes in a surprisingly scathing memoir to be published next week that President Bush “veered terribly off course,” was not “open and forthright on Iraq,” and took a “permanent campaign approach” to governing at the expense of candor and competence.
Quote:
“If anything, the national press corps was probably too deferential to the White House and to the administration in regard to the most important decision facing the nation during my years in Washington, the choice over whether to go to war in Iraq.

“The collapse of the administration’s rationales for war, which became apparent months after our invasion, should never have come as such a surprise. … In this case, the ‘liberal media’ didn’t live up to its reputation. If it had, the country would have been better served.”
Liberal media HAHAHA!!!!

Quote:
Even some of the chapter titles are brutal: “The Permanent Campaign,” “Deniability,” “Triumph and Illusion,” “Revelation and Humiliation” and “Out of Touch.”
Quote:
McClellan charges that Bush relied on “propaganda” to sell the war.

A nice way to say he lied.

A just war does not have to be "sold". Bush and Cheney should be impeached immediately.

I remember posting a thread on this months ago at another board. McClelland was in the news just before the release of the book because he had created a news media "buzz" about his book and what he was going to say.

Yes, it is yet another source pointing to Bush and Cheney lying their butts off to start the Iraq War. Unfortunately, because the body count is down, and impeachment is off the table, people have moved on to issues that are more directly impacting their lives right now, like the economy and gas at over $4 a gallon.

Or harlots fleeing the carcass of the old geezer they helped cause the demise of. (strains of Billie Holiday's "God Bless the Child" heard in the background)
