Yet another example of how chickenhawks deskwarriors in Congress and in the white house preach down at us for stay the sacrifice while they have no one in their families or extended families and are sacrificing nothing at all themselves personally. In plain English, stay the sacrifice translates as "we need cannon fodder."
Bush sacrificed his golf game... isn't that enough for you? You want him to actually send his own kids into harm's way?

well... no, it isn't enough for me and yeah... yeah I do...

He said he sacrificed his Golf Game but there is video evidence that proves
he has played golf since 2003.

I am still in shock that he could actually equate Golf with what the soldiers are sacrificing.

By the time all of the delayed stuff he never considered, such as tens of thousands of vets roaming the streets with PTSD, hits the fan he will move to Paraguay, where the Bush family now owns property. He could build a plantation and live igcognito like the Nazi war criminals. Any random accident that Paraguay does not have an extradition treaty with America?

I first saw this info in an email that I received from a veteran's organization which I consider a valid source. This info has also appeared in the Washington Post and other newspapers. Star-Telegram.com: | 05/16/2008 | VA staff ordered to cut PTSD diagnoses

Also, if there really is a greater amount of testing that should be done before determining whether someone has this so-called "disorder," and they don't have the time and resources to do the testing, then is it really good medical practice to give such a diagnosis?
Our vets should be given the time and resources needed for proper diagnosis. PTSD is a life-altering disorder with a high suicide rate. If we can throw several billion a month towards another country's civil war, which is what the Iraq quagmire has become, there is no valid reason to deny our returning vets proper care.

There is a new element to the PTSD we are now seeing as a result of Iraq. When those troop carriers are hit with IED's, many of the survivors have suffered severe concussion. The medical research is showing that there is some type of brain trauma contributing to many cases of PTSD.

Now that might make sense but I would insist on a person being tested to determine cause before making a diagnosis.

The problem with these so-called "mental illnesses" is that they're based almost entirely on some person's subjective complaints and not on objective diagnostic testing. Any whiner can come along and make up some story about how his life is such a mess ever since he got out of the military and now has to go out and get a job, find his own housing, buy and prepare his own meals, etc. Show me objective evidence that differentiates these people from people who genuinely suffered a traumatic experience that is actually preventing them from being able to function outside the highly structured environment of the military.

"Why?" asks the confused waiter, as the panda makes toward the exit. The panda produces a badly punctuated wildlife manual and tosses it over his shoulder.

"I'm a panda," he says at the door. "Look it up."

The waiter turns to the relevant entry and, sure enough, finds an explanation.

"Panda. Large black-and-white bear-like mammal, native to China. Eats, shoots and leaves."

Most people of good conscience are as well, mwill... it's really rather disgusting if you ask me and it equates to his challenge also in 2003 to those who wished to cause our military harm... you remember

"Bring 'em ON!"

don't you? With more than 3500 deaths and countless thousands of injured since then, do you think bush is pleased with how well the insurgents accepted his challenge?

During your time in the military, chan, did you go to war? Just curious... cuz your post seems awfully insensitive.
