I think this is what a friend of mine calls "molehill politics," as in making a mountain out of.

More to the point, Insane McCain has SOUGHT OUT the endorsement of a vitriolic radical hate-monger who has said things which are much, much more extreme and frankly frightening than anything Rev. Wright has even hinted at. And now he calls this man his "spiritual advisor." Does that mean he's going to be taking advice from this maggot?

The "Blame America First" crowd? It's clear to me at least that must mean the cheap-labor conservatives. Does anybody happen to remember what Pusgut Jerry Falwell said--and Pat Robertson agreed with!--a couple of days after the World Trade Center came down? If not just go HERE.
It just goes to show the vehemence and vitriol the right wing will unleash behind its' contempt for Dems, liberals, women, and people of color, and gays.
I mean, after all that, who's left? Think about it.

Let's not generalize here. Not all "right-wingers" have contempt for women, people of color, and gays.

"All" right wingers...maybe not. But the fact remains that goodly numbers of them are racists:

That's Tony Zirkle at the podium...and the birthday bunting is for Hitler.

And the overwhelming majority of them don't believe that a woman ought to make decisions (like, say, terminating pregnancies) about THEIR OWN BODIES.

But the one which REALLY astounds me is that a party which has so many closeted homosexuals--Hello, Larry Craig, Mark Foley, Richard Curtis, Bob Allen, Ted Klaudt, etc!--has long made an issue of gay rights.

All? No. Most? Betcha...

Touche"....and it's always the ones pointing fingers that wind up being the worst offenders...I think we have a few on the forum, itself. They always say it's the empty wagons that make the most noise. Those empty deviant wagons...somebody ought to break their axles, or something.

My mother, my father, everyone that was a member of the conservative club at my high school. Plenty of people that I knew at college, both at UW, PCC, and PSU.

There are many, in fact most, "right wingers" that do not "have contempt for women, people of color, and gays."

How about me?!?

1)I love women and think they are great. 2)My wife is a woman of color.

But I can't stand gays.

So does 2 out of 3 count aaronssongs?

Pardon me...but I was speaking of someone of note (no offense)...someone whose name we all know. Those people cannot be canvassed.

You just said "name one." It shouldn't matter who that "one" comes from, that proves that there is at least one. I try to avoid people generalizing on any subject because all it does is form attacks based on lies that degrade any and all debate.

Now I'm not saying that I never generalize because I know that I'm not perfect and likely to make a mistake, but I try my best to avoid them as should anyone wanting to have an intellegent debate.

Excuse me...but you named people that only you know. And your testimony only amounts to "hearsay". Someone of "note", could be google'd to find out their particular take. We all would appreciate an "intell(i)gent debate.
When I said "name one", I didn't mean your mama and dem.
