A poll about McCain v. Obama right now is unrealistic, as McCain is NOT actively engaged in campaigning. We will have a more realistic picture when the real campaign for the regular election begins.
McCain has again confused Sunnis, Shia and Al Qaeda. An opponent in regular elections would be all over that and other issues. McCain can correct what he said, but that leaves an issue of age related inattentiveness. I would not call McCain a buffoon. However, Bush is the buffoon in chief and is a much better case in point of someone thoroughly unqualified to be president.
