This is I hope going to help us see where our cities are more alike than we thought. The Parties come down right to the city councils of all of America. Using letters to the editor and the opinions page we can get the view of the people and the reaction from the parties.
Hopefully other will post comments and the same from their local papers and use the front page to show the results. The more posted the better to see the power of the parties and their disconnect of the people they are suppose to work for. If any need help to scan, upload to an image location (I use free photo bucket) and getting the item into a post just ask.

This plays out everywhere as it is one way cities cut expenses trying to hold the bottom line. Yet the next days news ws about the need to fill and also the cut to firemen's O.T. and even shutting down one fire house for a day so the budget can make O.T. in the fire department.

This has been going on before the session began. I wished I had started then
to show this as a complete story of GOP and DNC power at the local level of county govt. That is the real danger of the parties.

One city council man walked out of a meeting and told reporters here in Topeka it is like the Capital, the ones in positions of power don't listen to the people.

Look at the excuses and scare tactics use by the Chamber of Commerce, which is suppose to see that workers benefit from the work environment I believe. And look at the way it has been reduced to nothing by the 2 parties and their interests groups.

And lastly look at how states will save on their run away budgets and use fear for more jails and prisons. We do need then because our schools produce more crime minded young people than ones who will produce for our society. And more people are losing jobs that have no credit/savings to fall back on. Pay day loans aren't for the non working. And living from pay check to pay check for a long time means your pi** off already if you pay attention to those around you.
