Default McCain, Romney to campaign together (AP)

AP - John McCain was getting some help Thursday from former Republican rival Mitt Romney, a pairing that two months ago seemed improbable as the two fought bitterly for the party's presidential nomination.

If Romney is offered the VP spot and accepts it, it will greatly lower my respect for him.

Yes, but after what McCain did to Romney in regards to 'timetables' and all that stuff, I find it sad that Romney would pander to get the VP slot.

It would be the most unappealing duo for presidency in recent times ever.

A McCain Bush ticket would be bad (after doing 2 terms as president can one still be VP?).

McCain-Bush? Ah, another snappy Democratic attempt at humor while his party melts down around him. Think that you'll be cracking jokes this November? Not likely.

I'm not a Democrat, I'm a totalitarian.

And it's not just a democrat thing to not like Bush as many republicans don't like him either (or should I saw, they don't like the things that he's done, not nessicarily him).

You're right. I voted for Bush and I dislike what he has done. But Bush isn't running. McCain is and he is incredibly popular among Republicans and disatisfied Democrats.
