This story shows a continuation of the split in the Democratic party. If they plan on winning they need to come together and stop tearing at each others throats.

Not entirely true. If Clinton smears Obama badly, than many Obama supporters won't support Hillary (and likewise the other way). The longer this goes the more likely that a bad attacking smear will accure from one side.

I don't for see any major split in the party, democrats are as democrat as they have ever been this election. The only concern I have is one candidate questioning the legitimacy of the other. For example, Billary has already said in not so many words that because the Michigan voters were disenfranchised Obama might be an illegitimate candidate.

Many people, who are informed, know who Bill Richardson is. Many people know the great things he has done in the state and know that by putting Richardson on the ticket you eliminate any question about experience.

And how did that work for the country? I think (hope) that we've learned our lesson. I think that Obama shouldn't try to convince people that he has experience (if/when he goes against McCain), but that he should show that experience doesn't equal good, and that he'll have advisors that will help him.
