Yeah, what we need to curb violence and anti-social behaviour is some good violence, my parents never punished me through violence and I don't run around vandalising war memorials or mugging old ladies.

Innocent of the particular crime in question, though i agree it is almost impossible to have a good time as a teenager without breaking some minor laws.

I ran a red light at 17 and turned myself in and got laughed at by the police woman at the front desk.

A well-deserved kick in the backside or swat across the backside with a belt is not "violence" but it often is a good means of correcting inappropriate behavior. I think if you take a closer look at Western societies from when they stopped spanking their kids you'll find these kids are more disrespectful of their parents (and adults in general), more prone to disobey and more likely to reject authority.

But what do you Brits do? You protect these animals and arrest the only adult trying to actually do something about it! In your sick society it's obviously true that these kids can do whatever they want and no one can touch them.

Nonsense! Child abuse is letting these animals run around unsupervised. Child abuse is not providing these animals with the structure and discipline they so clearly need.
