Yes, corruption in Venezuela is a problem. Just like human rights abuses.

How is that different from most other nations in the region?

How is that any different from any other period in Venezuela's history?

Oh yeah, I forgot, you just don't like Chavez.

Do us a favor. Go learn about the rest of the region and you might see that while Chavez is by no means an angel, he's not as bad as you or FOX would like us to believe.

Venezuela - LANIC
What has Chavez done to curb corruption? If this "blacklist" is any example he quite obviously supports corruption. He has, once again, identified his leadership and government of serving rather than correcting corruption. It just one more example of the failure of Chavez.

Yes, I disagree with plenty of what Chavez does, but this pointless trolling on the part of Bourne makes me want to defend his every action.
Defend away.

What was your position on Abu Graib? What is your position on Gitmo?
I'll bet a dollar to a doughnut that you think Rumsfeld is a dick for letting it happen. The reality being that he likely knew absolutely nothing about it until the press broke the story.
You're openly stating that because injustice occurs all around Chavez that he is defendable.
I sometimes think leftist are the most caring of people. As long as the people they are caring about share the same color and nationality.

What the hell are you on about?

When you can write a paragraph that I can decipher, I'll try to respond.

With a bit of pondering, it may come to you.
Sorry to have puzzled you so.

I think somewhere you got the idea that I approved of the candidate blacklisting.

I'm not sure where...

No, you made that clear. I was responding to your willingness to defend Chavez based on injustice occurring around him. He exudes the attitude that his concern lies with the welfare of "people". His actions expose that his goal is for power regardless of the people's will.

If you are referring to what I say in a different thread, why don't you take it there?

How's that? By pointing out that Chavez is nothing more than a corrupt crook? If you want to defend Chavez, hey feel free. But insulting me by calling me a "dick" isn't an argument, just ignorant.

Pointless trolling? I doubt that you'd apply the same label if the subject were Bush, Cheney or McCain. But then that's the consistent inconsistency of the left.
