Wasn't Cuba's revolution back in the 1950s? How is the revolution itself directly responsible for Cuba's present-day foreign aid?

Imho, the idea of a continuous revolution is a bullsht concept to be used an excuse for the dictatorship of the proletariat to remain in place.
