If the EU were to go the route of respecting peoples rights. In going to a system of voting for a "president" like the new treaty says it will. Also gives each state local control over there issues, then the EU could be a lot like the United states in 20 years time. It could work and become a power for good in this world. Of coarse they could jump the gun and take rights away from people and keep running on the lie of global warming to in **** there selfs. But will see what the future holds.

I don't see much yet in the EU. I don't really think joining the EU necessarily benefited Poland, and if and when we change our currency to the Euro, inflation will likely go up. I liked being able to buy cheap beer. :p
