Default Rupert Murdoch bBreaking UK Law ?

Okay, i'm just listening to George Galloway and he's raised a good point.

For those of you who don't know, a former editor of a downmarket newspaper owned by Murdoch announced on tv that Murdoch was putting him forward to stand in a by election against Conservative MP David Davis. He announced on live TV that he was standing for Murdoch and would be funded by Murdoch.

Now this must be against UK law, i'm not sure which law exactly, but it must be illegal for a foreign national to put forward his own puppet - which the candidate has all but admitted he is.

Galloway has said he will be pursuing this issue and i sincerely hope Murdoch cant buy justice again as he recently did in his case against socialist politician Tommy Sheridan.

They talk about the failure of socialism but where is the success of capitalism in Africa, Asia and Latin America?

Murdoch is completely amoral. He is about power and influence and of course wealth, nothing else matters to him.

Agreed. His puppet candidate has said they are doing this for the sake of British democracy - how altruistic of the Australian born US citizen to care so much about British democracy.

Murdoch created a national newspaper here, "The Australian". It's a good paper, albeit very right wing but if you read it with that knowledge the bull**** doesn't blind. Anyway back in 1972 we had a moribund conservative government that needed to be thrown out. Murdoch had his national paper endorse Gough Whitlam, the Opposition Leader. Whitlam won. It was a remarkable piece of political pragmatism by Murdoch that demonstrated he isn't interested in ideology, just power, influence and wealth. He will support whoever and whatever advances his own interests. As I said, amoral.
