Typical socialist paranoia. But even Chavez isn't so stupid as to directly threaten the US. He knows what the result would be. We'd devestate Venezuela in 1 - 2 days. Instead he just keeps spouting his load of socialist bulls*t in a vain attempt to impress someone, anyone.

Pot, kettle, black. Venezuela can be linked to anyone you like, but the US directly represses and terrorises. They are allied with more repressive regimes than Venezuela could ever be. You are in no position to take the moral high ground.

You really need to brush up on the Socialist and Communist rulers that this world has known. Then you will have a better idea of who actually "represses and terrorises".

Venezuela is allied with and supports Cuba, Bolivia, Russia, Iran. In the case of Iran Venezuela is effectively allied with state sponsored terrorism.

Chavez has directly repressed civil dissent and the media in Venezuela. He has manipulated elections and the Venzuelan constitution to increse his power.

The US has been involved in some unsavory relationships but nothing like what Chavez has done.

Why are you lying ? Because that is what you are doing. Chaves has manipulated no elections, unlike in your country where the supreme court appoints the president

Venezuela hasn't started any wars, it has no guantanamo or abu ghraib. The twon are incomparable.
