True enough, but in politics every word is scrutinised. Ken could have reached back to Harold Laski and the British Left support for a Jewish homeland but it would have done him no good. They smell blood and they bite, simple as that.

Getting there. I think George is too blunt. He scared the **** out of the Americans not used to robust political debate but he's not PM material. Ken is. I think he is less ideological and has more smarts and less baggage than George. Ken would work I think.
