The American puppet and former New York lawyer Georgia's president mikhail saakashvili is about to learn a lesson....
29/ 04/ 2008 ![]() MOSCOW, April 29 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Defense Ministry issued a stern warning to Georgia on Tuesday over its actions in its conflict zones, and pledged to deploy more Russian peacekeepers in the area. The ministry said that violence against Russians in Abkhazia and South Ossetia, breakaway Georgian provinces, would be met with tough reprisals from the Russian side. "Any attempts by Georgia to use force to resolve the conflicts, or to employ violent measures against Russian peacekeepers or Russian citizens living in Abkhazia and South Ossetia will encounter an appropriate and tough response," the ministry said in a statement. The statement said Georgian aggression has forced Russia to increase peacekeeping numbers in the conflict zones. Russia's Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that Georgia is preparing to launch a military operation against Abkhazia. Georgia is amassing troops, weaponry, ammunition, food and material supplies in the upper Kodori region on the border with Abkhazia, the statement said. Russian President Vladimir Putin called earlier this month for closer ties with the breakaway republics. Putin's statement provoked an angry response from Tbilisi, which accused Russia of attempting to annex the two republics. Georgia also claims that on April 20 a Russian MiG-29 Fulcrum fighter from the Gudauta military base in Abkhazia, where Russian peacekeepers have been stationed since the end of a bloody conflict in the early 1990s, shot down a Georgian drone, a claim Russia has denied. The incidents have seen relations between Moscow and Tbilisi plunge to a new low. RIA Novosti - World - Russia warns of harsh response to Georgian provocations ![]() |

Georgia preparing military operation against Abkhazia
Russia's Foreign Ministry statement. Video - YouTube - Georgia preparing military operation against Abkhazia MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION INFORMATION AND PRESS DEPARTMENT _______________________________ 32/34 Smolenskaya-Sennaya pl., 119200, Moscow G-200; tel.: (495) 244 4119, fax: 244 4112 e-mail: dip@mid.ru, web-address: Ìèíèñòåðñòâî èíîñòðàííûõ äåë Ðîññèéñêîé Ôåäåðàöèè PRESS RELEASE Measures to Strengthen the Collective CIS Peace Keeping Force in the Georgian-Abkhaz Zone of Conflict 588-29-04-2008 According to information that has come in from the Russian Ministry of Defense, the development of events in the Georgian-Abkhaz zone of conflict dictates the need for increasing Collective CIS Peacekeeping Force (PKF) personnel within the troop strength limits as set by a decision of the CIS Council of Heads of State, of August 22, 1994. This step has been undertaken based on an evaluation of the growth of tension resulting from the destabilizing measures being taken by the Georgian side. Among them: the buildup, in violation of the Moscow agreement on the ceasefire and separation of forces of 14 May 1994, and relevant UN Security Council resolutions, of Georgian military and police forces in Upper Kodori, the step-up of flights by Georgian spy planes over the security zone, and Tbilisi’s refusal, contrary to the recommendation of the UN Secretary General, to close down the Patriot military-patriotic youth camp, which is located in direct proximity to the ceasefire line and has become the source of a series of provocations recently. Neither does Georgia’s permanently avoiding concluding an agreement with the Abkhaz side on the nonuse of force to resolve the conflict help to establish trust. Under these conditions, the presence of the Russian peacekeepers remains a decisive factor of preventing the escalation of tension. The important stabilizing role of the CIS PKF and the effectiveness of its cooperation with the United Nations Observer Mission in Georgia (UNOMIG) have once again been noted in the recently adopted resolution 1808 of the UN Security Council. The measures to strengthen the PKF are undertaken solely for the purpose of preventing any likelihood of new bloodshed in Transcaucasia and of neutralizing attempts to reduce to naught the prospects for a peaceful political settlement of the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict. The Russian Federation reaffirms its undeviating adherence to its international obligations for maintaining peace and stability in the region. Gov, according to the article you've provided, as the Russians send more troops to Abkhazia, they are also in violation of the Moscow agreement just like you claim the Georgians are.
so, what's the problem? Perhaps Russia should stop funding a break-away republic in the Caucasus just to make Georgia (a province that always gave it trouble during the days of the Tsars and the USSR) look bad. Perhaps you could send a message to the Kremlin and tell Vasya to put his huyi back in his pants before it gets stepped on? Russia is still fighting a failing battle in Chechnya. Do they really want to widen that conflict by going to war with Georgia too? I for one certainly hope not. But then, I'm one who still believes there is such a thing as Russian common sense, in spite of what I've seen Russians do with my own eyes.

Once Russia nukes some small towns in Europe the leaders of EU will take their troops away from Russia. It seems like this is the only option we have. Europeans don't understand human language, they understand a stick. The point, however, is that Russia does NOT practice a cowboy diplomacy like USA does. Today's America's president REFUSES to negotiate with countries, US thinks it's better just call them all kind of names and bomb them. |

American puppets are looking for trouble:
Georgian leadership pushing nation to war - Russia's NATO envoy 30/ 04/ 2008 ![]() BRUSSELS, April 30 (RIA Novosti) - Georgia's leadership is pushing the nation toward a potentially disastrous war over the breakaway Georgian republics of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, the Russian envoy to NATO said on Wednesday. "One gets the impression that [President Mikheil] Saakashvili and [acting Foreign Minister David] Bakradze are not fully aware of what they are pushing their people toward - they are pushing them into a war in which they will again suffer a defeat," Dmitry Rogozin said. Abkhazia and South Ossetia broke away from Georgia in the early 1990s following the collapse of the Soviet Union. Between 10,000 and 30,000 people were killed in the Georgian-Abkhazian conflict and some 3,000 in South Ossetian-Georgian hostilities. Georgia is looking to regain control over the two republics. Russia's envoy to NATO was commenting on a statement by Bakradze that Russia's plans to increase the number of its peacekeepers in Abkhazia and South Ossetia marked the beginning of "full-scale military aggression." "The situation is developing according to the worst of all possible scenarios. This is a fact. And it is happening due to an extremely irresponsible and jingoistic rhetoric on the part of Tbilisi," Rogozin said.
