Perpetual war in the Middle East brings huge profits to oil companies and other American corporations. So, naturally, American oil companies and their political arm GOP use every opportunity to ridicule a legacy of a man who did so much to start a peace process and a dialog between Arab countries and Israel.
And today's events, such as war in Iraq, actually prove that everlasting war in the Middle East is GOOD FOR THE AMERICAN CORPORATIONS.

I'm a conservative. I want peace in the mid east. I don't want peace at the cost of Israel being destroyed. I don't want peace at the price of allowing terrorist locations to train at killing their victims. I want peace when Arabs are willing to compromise. I am willing to do battle as long as they are. I am willing to talk as much as they are.
James Carter is a good hearted man. But that does not change the fact that he is a total moron. Even his democratic mates are expressing displeasure with his latest attempt at legacy building. His legacy is sealed. The greatest American presidential moron.
By the way. Haliburton does business because they can. They are qualified. They make money. Is it your preference to allow shoddy companies make ill attempts at the production? They are used because the expertise is not available in the oil producing nations. "They" are used by the oil producing nations.
