Enforce existing law,fine and imprison business owners who knowingly employ them! Do this and most of the illegals will self-deport.Most of the illegals are already guilty of fraud by falsifying their employment information.
At minimum,they should return to their nation of origin for 120 days and then apply for entry. There are thousands of people waiting patiently for "permission" to become US citizens! Why grant preference to people who violated our nation's sovernty by granting them some form of amnesty?

This is already process in the U.K. btw.

If you employ an illegal immigrant here, you are prosecuted. It's the employer's responsibility to verify the employee's legitimacy.

From this observation, would it be fair for others to assume that you believe that (1) the US illegitimately acquired Texas and other parts of the Southwest; and (2) the US, therefore, has no moral legitimacy--and, therefore, no right to complain about the current invasion of low-skill Mexican workers?

No, I think it's fair to assume he's using a little sarcasm to lighten the mood. I don't know about you, but the sad state of our border and security makes blood shoot out of my eyes.

Well I hate to disagree with you, but it is the job of our soldiers to protect/defend this country,plus it cheater to place the National guard on the border than it would to place all those high paying border patrol officers.

Abetter deal would be to take over any company that hires an illegal, and let the state run it, place the owners in jail this will stop them from hiring any illegals, and the others will think twice before hiring any illegals,.next we should the national guard patrol the border, and most of all give them the right to defend theirselfs at all cost... this will piss off mexico but that would be a plus..
